Special Project Funds
The EARS (emergency animal relief) Fund, formerly known as the "Treasure Fund," was established in 1997 in honor of an 18 month old Golden Retriever. This Fund is earmarked to help pay for extrordinary vet bills for dogs, cats, and horses.
The Fix-It-Fund was established in 2003. The Fund is dedicated to helping low and fixed income families spay and neuter their pets and to help with the T-N-R (trap-neuter-release) of feral cat colonies. Due to the generous donations that were made to the Fund, 120 animals were spayed or neutered during the Fund's first year. This surpassed our goal of 100! |
